Great post, Rundy. This is how I try to keep my own blog. With the prompts, it’s a bit more difficult during a challenge; but being interesting and fun is something I love to do. I find I lose track of time more when writing my books. When my alarm goes off, signaling time to get my daughter off the bus, I generally sigh, save, and wish I had more time. I agree getting lost in your prose is something you have to do in order to keep people engaged. I just wish I could find a way to do that without going blah, blah, blah during a challenge 🙂 WRITE ON!
Yeah, the writing challenge is interesting. The topics are not something I normally write about so it has stretched my writing to engage myself.
